The Hidden Feast is an opportunity for Canberra region locals to gather, share, laugh and feast for a good cause.
The Hidden Feast is the first series of charity curated dinner parties in the Canberra region, bringing together passionate partners and guests to enjoy a unique dining experience. 100% of the proceeds from each event will be donated to the NICU Foundation.
Each Hidden Feast is held in a unique location, the specific location of which to be advised to guests on the day of the event. The locations vary from urban to rural (maximum 45 minutes from Canberra). For remote locations, transport will be provided (pick up and drop off in CBD). Together we will spend a long and leisurely evening of sampling local produce, sipping regional wine, sharing stories and getting to know one another. Each feast will have a beautifully curated menu and theme based on the season and setting.
We hope you join us for a truly unique experience and help us contribute to the good work people are doing around us!
The event is organised and run by photographer, stylist and blogger Anisa Sabet. After seeing the amazing secret suppers put on by Portland based blogger / photographers Eva Kosmas Flores and Christiann Koepke, Anisa was inspired to bring a similar concept to her hometown. She sees this as an exciting opportunity to collaborate with local creatives to deliver a unique offering to Canberrans whilst contributing to the good work charities are doing in our local community. By providing a highly styled setting, excellent quality food and highlighting the best of the region's produce, Hidden Feasts will be one-of-a-kind experiences for guests.
The catering for Hidden Feast will be provided by Sydney based chef, Aaron Teece of Studio Neon.
When he called London home, Aaron cooked for the likes of Lady Margaret Thatcher, Kate Moss and Keira Knightly and was lucky enough to cook for the Queen on a few occasions. But, as they say, there's no place like home, so he returned to Australia. He has since been seen in some of Sydney's finest establishments including Astral, Sean's Kitchen, EST., Felix and Manly Pavillion while in the process of searching for a venue that he could make his own.
Aaron now runs one of Sydney's most unique studios, Studio Neon and runs a mobile events company, travelling across Australia and internationally. His philosophy is simple: bring like-minded people together in an inspired yet relaxed setting, to share food, wine and to create a memorable experience. He is excited to collaborate with Hidden Feast to provide Canberrans with a unique dining experience while raising money for charity.
